How can I transfer AllSync to another computer?

Example scenario: You use AllSync on a desktop PC and want to move to your new laptop with the software and all settings:

Quit all AllSync program instances on the desktop PC: AllSync, Scheduler, Scheduler Service and Service Tool.
Create a full data backup of AllSync and copy the backup file to the new laptop.
Uninstall AllSync on the desktop PC.
Install AllSync on the new laptop.
Start AllSync and import the data backup.
