Performance Optimization

Here are some tips to reduce the time required for a copy preview or copy operation.

General

Use the copy mode 'Synchronize' only if you modify data in both the source and destination and need to copy data in both directions.

Avoid unnecessary filters for files and folders.
Disable the options for file conflicts and structure conflicts in the 'Synchronize' copy mode if you don't need them.
The backup folder for the 'Data Protection' option should be located on a local hard drive.
Disable unused options in the profile properties under 'General'.
Disable the logging settings in the profile properties.
Use a temporary folder for creating a ZIP file if the target of the ZIP file is not on a local hard drive.
Use a low compression level when backing up data to a ZIP file using the Backup copy mode.

Disable the option 'Show contents of filtered folders in copy preview' in the profile properties.
Disable the report colors for entries in the report tables.
